Graduate Internship

Beyond Healing Center takes graduate interns from counseling, social work, psychology and related programs. You'll see clients under weekly supervision and train alongside our clinicians in relational, trauma-informed therapy.

Location: Springfield, MO
Placement: 9 months
Applications: Reviewed year round

What you'll do

See individuals, couples and families, and co-facilitate groups and workshops.
Handle assessment, treatment planning and documentation the way a licensed clinician does.
Support clients in crisis and make the right referrals.
Join community outreach and education events.
Meet weekly for individual supervision and attend our training seminars.

Who should apply

You're enrolled in a master's program in counseling, social work, psychology or a related field.
You've finished your foundational coursework in counseling theory and technique.
You want to serve clients from every background, and you work well on your own and on a team.
